Diagnostics
Identity
Diagnostics in CFIM360° are observational tools.
They exist to reveal the current state of a system — not to fix it, judge it, or improve it.
Diagnostics do not tell you what to become. They show you what is operating.
What Diagnostics Are
Diagnostics observe coherence across different domains:
- internal alignment
- stability under pressure
- drift and recovery
- cross-layer contradictions
They make invisible system behavior visible.
Nothing more.
What Diagnostics Are Not
Diagnostics are not:
therapy assessment scores personality typing pass/fail evaluations prescriptions for action
They do not rank, label, or correct.
They only observe.
Why Diagnostics Exist
Most failures do not come from lack of effort or intent. They come from unseen internal contradictions.
Diagnostics exist to answer a simple question:
What state is this system in right now?
Before interpretation. Before intervention. Before meaning-making.
Diagnostic Domains
Diagnostics in CFIM360 are grouped by what is being observed, not by outcome.
These include:
→ Inner Diagnostics
Observes the whole system at once — where emotional, cognitive, and somatic layers converge or contradict.
→ Emotional Diagnostics
Observes emotional coherence, drift, saturation, and recovery under pressure.
→ Cognitive Diagnostics
Observes clarity, overload, looping, and stability of thought processes.
→ Somatic Diagnostics
Observes body-level regulation, stress imprinting, and pre-conscious signals.
→ Machine Diagnostics
Observes coherence, drift, and stability in artificial systems under instruction and load.
→ Coupled-System Diagnostics
Observes resonance and breakdown when human and machine systems interact.
Each domain reveals a different aspect of system state. No single diagnostic represents the whole.
Boundaries
Diagnostics in CFIM360:
- do not promise accuracy
- do not claim completeness
- do not define identity
- do not force conclusions
They are designed to support self-observation without collapse.
Status
Diagnostics are active and evolving.
New instruments may appear as coherence reveals new patterns. Some diagnostics may remain unpublished or experimental.
Nothing here is final. Nothing here is forced.
